General Summary of Duties:
Works to resolve unpaid claims and manages client accounts receivable by contacting insurance companies and fixing billing errors by performing the following duties.

Requires mobility. Requires prolonged sitting. Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to distinguish letters, symbols, and colors. Ability to push and/or pull office equipment weighing five to fifteen pounds. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear.
Work is performed in an office environment. Ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality is required.
- Posts client payments
- Resolves rejected claims issues
- Calls on client aging report, generates list of problems, and ensures they are collected
- Performs other duties as assigned

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software; spreadsheet software; internet software and database software.
Associate’s degree (A.A./A.S.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous industry experience and collections experience is preferred.
